Egg Carton Easter Bunnies filled with Mini Eggs
Use up all those eggs that are sitting in the cupboard for about two weeks now and make some easy peasy egg carton Easter Bunnies with the kids filled with Mini Eggs for the Garden Hunt.
A quick and easy one for “Stay at home” Easter mid term.
What you need:
💡 1 x empty egg carton
💡 White foam or white cardboard for bunny ears (Dealz, in stock now)
💡 Googly eyes, or draw googly eyes and stick on (in stock now at Dealz at the Crescent, an essential retailer)
💡 Pom poms
💡 Acrylic paint (available in Dealz now )
💡 Mini chocolate eggs or sweets to fill (Tesco, Dealz, Butlers Chocolates)
💡 Craft glue + Masking tape (Dealz/Tesco)
💡 Black marker for whiskers
1. Divide out all the individual egg holders. in the Egg Carton. Using a scissors even the top and bottom of the egg holder and place a small piece of masking tape on the back to seal the top and bottom of the egg carton together.
2. Let the kids paint the egg carton holders in a mix of spring colours and decorate with glitter, squiggles and whatever takes their fancy ( if googly eyes or pom poms are hard to come by at home)
3. Fill with little candies/eggs and use them as part of the Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday
