They say if you want to teach someone to appreciate something, take it away…nothing is truer than that of non essential retail closures all over the country.
With essential retailers the only stores open during this current lockdown our choice of daily pick me ups through retail therapy are limited.
One thing is for sure, in the absence of all other stores, we have grown to appreciate the comfort of a takeaway cup of coffee…..
We all enjoy a coffee in our own unique way….some are possibly partial to a latte, others an earthy flat white, an espresso hit, whatever way you have yours, don’t be too hard on yourself during this lockdown on your copious amounts of coffee drinking.
While too much coffee or caffeine can have a negative impact on our sleep patterns and more, it also brings with it a host of health benefits…..top of that list, you just gotta have a coffee to wake yourself up and feel good in this new normal!
Coffee in some studies has been shown to improve energy levels, reduce tiredness, boost your metabolism, improve fat burning, and also acts as an antioxidant! What’s not to like about that list?
But of course, all good things in moderation…
